UMass Medical School’s Commonwealth Medicine division has been named an approved vendor in the Massachusetts Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Technical Assistance (TA) Program and the TA Marketplace.
We are currently supporting Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Community Partners (CPs) in TA Domains that include Consumer Engagement, Workforce, Performance Improvement, and Health Information Technology. TA Domains reflect current TA priorities identified by MassHealth ACOs and CPs. TA Vendors were procured competitively for the TA Program based on their demonstrated experience and expertise in individual TA Domains.
“Our patient-centered and community-based approach sets us apart from other organizations, and we’re looking forward to applying our unique methodology to support the work of the Community Partners and Accountable Care Organizations as an approved TA Vendor,” said Martin Baker, senior director, Strategic Growth and Business Development.
The MA DSRIP TA Marketplace is a product of MassHealth, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program, and contractor Abt Associates Inc. (Abt). The TA Marketplace serves to enable MassHealth ACOs and CPs to easily navigate and tap into the array of resources and supports available to them through the MassHealth DSRIP TA Program. It is through the TA Marketplace that ACOs and CPs can learn more about the technical assistance vendors available to them through this program.
UMass Medical School, Commonwealth Medicine has been working in the Massachusetts Medicaid health care ecosystem for close to 40 years – developing evidence-based, clinical strategies and solutions for the most socially vulnerable and clinically at-risk populations.
Our experienced team of subject matter experts have a long history of successful partnerships with organizations including Long Term Care Innovation, LLC, Abacus Health Solutions and SMC Partners, LLC. We have successfully provided technical assistance to numerous public agencies, and we are prepared to help MassHealth and its partners improve the quality and cost effectiveness of care.
